CharaMaker (the "Service") is operated by Bizglobal (the "Company", "we", "us", "our"). The Service is accessible at https://charamaker.app.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by the laws of your country) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You meet the age requirement.
- You will provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You will use the Service in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
3. Account
You sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your negligence.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your characters, generations, and personal data will be removed within a reasonable timeframe (subject to legal retention requirements).
4. The Service
CharaMaker lets you:
- Design AI character personas with text and reference images.
- Generate images of your characters in custom scenes.
- Generate motion-transfer videos using reference clips.
- Generate captions for social media platforms.
- Optionally share your work in our public gallery (subject to admin review).
The Service relies on AI models that may produce imperfect, unpredictable, or unintended outputs. We do not guarantee that any specific result will be produced.
5. Credits and Payment
5.1 Credit system
Generations consume credits. Each action has a fixed credit cost (described on our Pricing page). Credits are deducted only upon successful generation. Failed generations do not deduct credits.
5.2 Free credits
New accounts receive 200 starter credits one time. Free credits do not roll over and have no monetary value.
5.3 Paid plans
Subscription plans (Starter / Creator / Pro) include monthly credit allocations. Subscription credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Plans renew automatically until cancelled.
5.4 Credit packs
One-time credit packs (Mini / Small / Medium / Large) add credits to your account that do not expire. Pack credits stack with subscription credits.
5.5 Bonus credits
You may earn bonus credits when content you submit is approved for the public gallery. Bonus credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5.6 Payment processing
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (currently Polar.sh). By making a purchase, you also agree to the terms of the relevant payment processor.
6. Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with CharaMaker. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both users and the platform.
6.1 Eligibility for refunds
You may request a refund if all of the following conditions are met:
- The refund request is submitted within 7 days of the original purchase.
- You have used less than 10% of the credits received from that specific purchase.
- The purchase was not made using a promotional discount that explicitly excludes refunds.
- Your account has not violated these Terms (Section 7 — Acceptable Use).
Refunds cannot be processed once 10% or more of the purchased credits have been consumed. This applies to both one-time credit packs and subscription credits.
6.2 How to request a refund

- Your account email
- The order ID (visible in your purchase receipt from Polar.sh)
- The reason for the refund request
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
6.3 Subscription refunds
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page (Subscription tab) to prevent the next billing cycle. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Refunds can be requested directly from your Account page (Purchases tab). Eligible purchases (within 7 days, less than 10% credits used) will show a "Request Refund" button. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
- Refunds for the current billing period follow the same 7-day / 10%-usage rule outlined in Section 6.1.
- Unused subscription credits at the end of a billing cycle do not roll over and are not refundable in cash.
6.4 Automatic credit adjustment
When a refund is issued, the credits granted from that purchase are automatically deducted from your account. Specifically:
- If your balance is greater than the refunded credits, the full credit amount is deducted.
- If your balance is less than the refunded credits, your balance is reduced to zero. We do not charge you separately for credits already consumed, but we also do not restore them if a refund occurs after use.
- For partial refunds, credits are deducted proportionally to the refunded amount.
6.5 Disputed charges and chargebacks
Please contact us first. We strongly encourage you to contact our support team at [email protected] before disputing a charge with your card issuer. In most cases, we can resolve the issue directly within a business day.
Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in:
- Immediate account suspension
- Forfeiture of any remaining credits in your account
- Permanent ban from creating new accounts on the Service
6.6 Exceptions
We may issue refunds outside these standard rules at our sole discretion in exceptional cases, including but not limited to:
- Verified technical failures on our end that prevented service delivery
- Accidental duplicate purchases made within 24 hours
- Demonstrably fraudulent charges on your account
All refund decisions are final and at the discretion of CharaMaker. This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights under applicable law, including but not limited to consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
7. User Content and Ownership
7.1 Your input
You retain all rights to text, prompts, images, and reference videos that you upload or submit ("Input"). You grant us a limited license to use your Input solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7.2 Generated output
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, you own the AI-generated images, videos, and captions ("Output") produced through your use of the Service. You may use Output for personal or commercial purposes, including social media, marketing, and resale.
Note: AI-generated content may not be copyrightable in some jurisdictions. We make no warranties regarding copyrightability.
7.3 You are responsible for your content
You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload your Input. You agree not to upload content that:
- Infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- Depicts identifiable real people without their consent;
- Depicts minors in any sexual or suggestive context;
- Contains illegal, hateful, harassing, or violent content;
- Is intended to deceive or impersonate (e.g., deepfakes of real public figures).
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, national, or international law.
- Generate non-consensual intimate imagery, child sexual abuse material, or content used to harass, threaten, or defame.
- Generate political deepfakes or impersonate real public figures, journalists, or officials.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures.
- Use the Service to compete with or replicate the Service.
- Resell credits or accounts to third parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund.
9. Public Gallery
If you choose to share your work to the public gallery, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and promote your submission within the Service and on our marketing materials. You may withdraw a submission at any time.
Submissions are subject to admin review and may be rejected for any reason.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service itself, including the website, brand, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or otherwise inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using or publishing it.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with the Service.
Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in fraud, abuse, or harmful conduct.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, South Korea or appropriate jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in another country (e.g., the EU), you may have additional rights under your local consumer protection laws that are not waived by these Terms.
