How does the credit system work?
Every generation deducts credits based on its complexity. Characters cost 100, images 100, and videos 500+ depending on length. Failed or cancelled jobs don't deduct credits — you're only charged for successful results.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits granted as a free signup bonus are one-time. Subscription credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Credit packs purchased separately never expire and stack with your subscription credits.
What if I run out of credits mid-month?
You have two options: upgrade your subscription plan, or buy a one-time credit pack (Mini / Small / Medium / Large). Pack credits never expire and work the same as subscription credits.
How do I earn bonus credits?
Submit your characters, images, or videos to the public gallery. Each approved submission earns you +20 credits — and helps inspire other creators.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll keep access to your current plan's credits until the end of your billing period, after which you'll be moved to the Free plan.
Can I upgrade or downgrade plans?
Yes — switch plans anytime from your account. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated credits. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
What's your refund policy?
We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if you've used less than 10% of your monthly credits. Contact our support team for refund requests.
Is my data private?
Yes. By default, your characters, images, and videos are private and visible only to you. They appear in the public gallery only if you explicitly share them and our admin approves the submission.
Who owns the content I create?
You retain full rights to all content you create with CharaMaker. You're free to use it commercially — for social media, marketing, products, or anywhere else.
Can I use uploaded reference images?
Yes — upload your own reference images for character design or scene composition. Make sure you have rights to use those images. We don't store your uploads beyond what's needed for generation.
Do you support invoices for businesses?
Yes — billing receipts are automatically emailed for every transaction. For custom enterprise invoices or volume pricing, please contact our support team.
